Restocking the Pipeline: Distribution with Medical Bridges
Delivering 200 first-aid kits and 3,000 masks back to Medical Bridges, the partner that makes our supply chain possible.
AccessAid returned to Medical Bridges this July to deliver 200 fully-stocked first-aid kits and 3,000 protective masks. Medical Bridges is the partner that recovers and redistributes the surplus medical supplies that make our kits possible in the first place, so this drop-off was about giving back to the organization that keeps our pipeline running.
Our team loaded up hundreds of boxes of masks and first-aid kits and drove them straight to the Medical Bridges facility, where staff help route surplus medical goods to organizations across the city. Every kit we hand out downstream starts with a partnership like this one.

This summer, AccessAid continued our mission of providing essential medical supplies by partnering with Cypress Assistance Ministries. We successfully delivered 200 fully-stocked first-aid kits along with 3,000 masks to help ensure the safety and health of the community members they serve.
Collaborating with Cypress Assistance Ministries allowed us to reach even more families facing hardships. These kits provide immediate relief for minor emergencies, while the masks offer necessary protection in our daily interactions.

Bringing Hope & Health: Community Distribution at Cy-Hope
Delivering hundreds of essential first-aid kits to support underserved youth and families in the Cy-Fair area.
This June, the AccessAid student team brought our mission directly to Cy-Hope, a dedicated non-profit organization working to make life better for kids in Cy-Fair. Our volunteers arrived with car trunks packed full of freshly assembled first-aid kits, ready to place critical emergency medical supplies into the hands of local families.
During the distribution event, our team collaborated closely with Cy-Hope staff at their main community lodge. Each kit contains vital wound-care essentials, including bandages, gauze, antiseptic pads, and medical gloves, empowering parents and youth to safely handle everyday scrapes and minor emergencies at home.

Initiatives like this demonstrate the true power of student-led community action. By turning surplus medical goods into immediate practical aid, we are taking meaningful steps toward health equity across Houston.

Returning to Cy-Fair Helping Hands to deliver more kits to the community.
Following the overwhelming success of our first drop, AccessAid returned to Cy-Fair Helping Hands this June for an even larger community distribution. Armed with hundreds of freshly packed first-aid kits and essential supplies, our team spent the day connecting with local families.
These kits do more than just clean scrapes, they provide peace of mind. By ensuring that households are equipped for minor emergencies, we are helping bridge the gap in basic healthcare access for underserved families in our community.

First Community Distribution with Cy-Fair Helping Hands
Placing 200 fully-stocked first-aid kits directly into the hands of underserved families.
This spring, AccessAid completed our first community distribution, placing 200 fully-stocked first-aid kits directly into the hands of underserved families in the Cy-Fair area. Partnering with Cy-Fair Helping Hands, we hosted an open distribution drive where residents could come and receive a kit free of charge, no questions asked.
Each kit contained the essentials a family needs to handle minor injuries safely at home: bandages, antiseptic, gauze, gloves, and basic wound-care supplies. These are items that are simple but often out of reach for families already stretched thin by rent, groceries, and medication costs.
It also marks the beginning of an ongoing partnership with Cy-Fair Helping Hands, and the first of many distributions planned for the greater Houston area in the coming year.
