First Community Distribution with Cy-Fair Helping Hands
Placing 100 fully-stocked first-aid kits directly into the hands of underserved families.
This spring, AccessAid completed our first community distribution — placing 100 fully-stocked first-aid kits directly into the hands of underserved families in the Cy-Fair area. Partnering with Cy-Fair Helping Hands, we hosted an open distribution drive where residents could come and receive a kit free of charge, no questions asked.
Each kit contained the essentials a family needs to handle minor injuries safely at home — bandages, antiseptic, gauze, gloves, and basic wound-care supplies. These are items that are simple but often out of reach for families already stretched thin by rent, groceries, and medication costs.
It also marks the beginning of an ongoing partnership with Cy-Fair Helping Hands, and the first of many distributions planned for the greater Houston area in the coming year.
